Jim Kyung-Soo Liew, Ph.D.

Dr. Jim Kyung-Soo Liew is an Associate Professor of Finance at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and revels in pushing the boundaries of financial knowledge and product development both as an academic and FinTech entrepreneur. He has published pioneering research in the intersection of social media big data, blockchain, and financial markets.

He currently teaches "Big Data Machine Learning AI," "Crypto-Currencies and Blockchain,” “Advanced Hedge Fund Strategies," and "Leading Entrepreneurship and Innovation" at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Johns Hopkins Innovation Factory and has received the Dean’s Award for Faculty Excellence 2015-2018. He serves on the Editorial Board of The Journal of the British Blockchain Association, Journal of Alternative Investments and the Journal of Portfolio Management where he co-authored the most read Invited Editorial "iGDP?".

Jeff Mohl

Jeff Mohl is an accomplished sports marketing executive, who has extensive experience working with many of the world's premier sports properties to implement innovative marketing campaigns and interactive fan experiences that drove fan acquisition and deepened engagement with new audiences both domestically and abroad. 

Throughout his tenure as the Vice President of Sports Marketing at NYC & Company and the Director of Marketing at the New York City Sports Commission, Jeff attracted and promoted high-profile sports events such as the NFL Super Bowl, MLB All-Star Game,  NBA All-Star Game, WWE WrestleMania, NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, NHL Winter Classic and the 2026 FIFA World Cup on behalf of the City of New York.

Additionally, Jeff was a member of the New York  Knicks' Game Operations staff for 7 seasons and also worked for NBC Olympics at the 2004 Summer Games in Athens, Greece. 

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Master’s degree in Sports Management from New York University. 

He is currently an adjunct instructor at NYU's Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
